European citizens, their aspirations and concerns, will be at the centre of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Our drive will be to advance and finalise as many priority legislative files as possible, in order to bring tangible results for the EU citizens.
Our colleagues from the Romanian Permanent Representation to the European Union, Virginia Enache chair of the Research Working Party and Cristian Staicu, vice-chair, are invited to the next IGLO Core meeting to be held on the 8th of January next year to present general features of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, followed by a more detailed presentation of our specific area of concern, research and innovation.
Another guest is Mr. Bogdan Chelariu the head of the North-East Regional Development Agency liaison office in Brussels. Bogdan will introduce the tenth edition of the WIRE conference, Week of Innovative Regions in Europe, to be held in June next year in the magical city of Iași, the most important political, economic, academic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania.
The "save the date" for the 3rd Symposium of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking was launched. Symposium will be held in Bucharest, at the impressive Palace of Parliament, and will host a wide range of European and global stakeholders in the Electronics Components and Systems field, including Industry, Research and Financial Communities, European, National and Regional decision-makers and international partners.
Mr Luciano Gaudio, officer for relations with stakeholders within Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership Initiative will introduce the 3rd Symposium of the ECSEL JU.
